7:42 AM · Access
Visitors scan a QR decal and call from their own phone. Residents answer with video from anywhere and open the door with one tap.
7:42:04 AM · At the door
This page is a single minute at one front door, watched from everywhere it lands. A courier scans the decal and the call opens in their browser, no app to download, and it only connects at the door itself: the phone proves it's standing there before the building picks up.
What happens in the next forty seconds depends on who's home, who's on shift, and what the building allows. Every version of it lands in the same place: the record.
7:42:09 AM · In a pocket, two miles away
Dana's lock screen lights up the way a call does, not a notification she has to go find. She sees the door's live video before she decides anything, and the whole exchange takes one thumb.
The same minute · At the desk
In doorman buildings the tablet is the front line: calls ring the desk, residents approve by voice when it matters, and unmanned entrances get a sticker instead of a second doorman.
The Tuesday before · In the portal
Management added this door in an afternoon: name it, bind the opener, print the decal, test the unlock, and then stop thinking about it, because the portal watches it from then on.
And the rest
The visitor's call runs in their browser. No app, no directory plate, no wiring in the wall.
Calls and pass redemptions only work at the door. A location check or an NFC tap says so before anything rings.
Time windows, weekly recurrence, use caps, party sizes, vendor terms, and revocation that takes effect immediately.
Unanswered buzzes are logged with a snapshot, and visitors can leave a message the resident sees in the app.
Pass codes are one of a trillion combinations, use counts are enforced atomically, and repeated bad tries lock out.
Start intercom-only, add a staffed desk later, same doors, same record, no rewiring when the building changes its mind.
7:43 AM · The record
All of it, the browser call, the home tap, the desk unlock, even the buzz nobody answered, lands in one ledger, in order, with a method on every line. Boards get answers. Disputes get short.
And the log only says what your building lets it say: identified, pseudonymous, or aggregate, by policy.
WRITES TO THE RECORD: entry events with who, when, which door, which method, and who authorized
6:00 AM, the next morning · Veni Intelligence
The alerts are deterministic rules; the briefing is Veni Intelligence narrating what they found, every line cited back to the entry log, twenty seconds to read.
Got a question the briefing didn't answer? Ask it in plain English. The answer comes with its sources, scoped to exactly the buildings you're allowed to see.
Explore Veni Intelligence →Quiet night. 14 entries, all authorized, the last a dinner guest on a two-use pass. One buzz at 2:11 AM went unanswered on DND. The garage opener responded slow twice; worth a look before it becomes a work order.
Two, both authorized: service passes you issued for the boiler contractor, redeemed 5:40 AM on the 3rd and 4th.
7:42 tomorrow · Get started
Access ships with every Veni plan: QR decals at the doors, the call in the visitor's browser, the record underneath. Your buzzer's replacement arrives as a sticker.
